Modelled after the Funny Man grey travel fedora style worn by Harrison Ford in only 2 short scenes in the 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' film, Indy's smart grey version of his classic adventuring poet hat has proved very popular with the fans ever since.
As the providers of all the original hats for the Indiana Jones trilogy, authenticity and craftmanship are the cornerstones of what we do. Our hatter has been developing this style for many months, working closely with our raw felt producers and dyers to create this custom luxurious beaver felt colour-matched to a very special 80's era vintage Funny Man Poet. We also use only the finest vintage galloon ribbon on all our Indy Poets today, still made on the same machines that made the ribbon for our original film hats. We are delighted to present our new Seaplane Beaver Poet now as close to the spirit of our original from the film as possible.
Available in a fully finished bashed version as well as an open crown version for those who may wish to style their hats crown shape themselves.
